Why should I add a job description?

Job descriptions are best used when you want to inform your housekeeper of something specific you want to get done for a specific job.

For example:  Say Jill (your pro) is assigned for a cleaning on March 4, 2024.  If you want them to leave extra toilet papers in master bathroom.  You can add a job description:

Hi Jill, please leave 2 extra toilet paper as we have more guests staying this time.

Job description can be added either before or after a job is assigned to your pro. If your pro is already assigned to a job, you can choose to add a job description passively or check “notify pro”, which also also send a notification to the pro that you’ve added or modified job description.

How to add a job description?

Step 1:  Click on Jobs in the top navigation bar.

Step 2:  Click on a job for which you would like to add description.

Step 3:  In the job view, click on Add a description.

Step 4:  Enter your description and click Add.

Step 5:  That’s it, you’re all done!

Your assigned pro will be notified automatically (if you had checked “Notify you pro”) otherwise, they will be able to see it when they go to the job view.

<aside> 💡 For faster access, simply, click "..." next to a job in your Jobs dashboard. Then, click Add description.
