Is there a transaction fee?

There is no transaction fee charged to the host for making a payment.

How can I trust Automatebnb with my payment information?

Automatebnb partners with Stripe to process payments. If you are not familiar with Stripe, please see the list of all major companies that trust Stripe today:  https://stripe.com/customers

For additional security, Automatebnb does not store any credit card or bank account information. All the heavy lifting is done on Stripe's end.

Can I decline a payment request?

No. This is currently not possible. If you do not agree with the payment request or payment amount, please contact your housekeeper directly. They will be able to cancel the payment request.

Do I receive an invoice for my payment?

Yes. Cleaning invoice is automatically emailed to both the host and the housekeeper once the payment is processed (usually this is done instantly unless there was a problem with the credit card).

Cleaning invoice can also be accessed in the respective cleaning view from your Automatebnb dashboard.

Which credit card will I be charged on for cleaning payments?

You will be charged on the same credit card you have added to your Automatebnb account for the monthly subscription fee.

Can I use a different payment method?

Currently, we only support one credit card at an account level. You can update the payment method but please note that your monthly Automatebnb subscription fee will also be charged to the updated payment method. We plan to allow multiple payment methods in the future.
